About Us
We got married in Squamish in 2008, and even though life took us all over, from working in California, Guam, Nunavut, the Okanagan, and 100 Mile House, the mountains have always called to us. We returned with the experience of founding and owning two previous offices, and now that our daughters have fallen in love with the trails and rocks here, Squamish has become our family’s home.

Dr. Visscher’s passion for dentistry began at the age of 15 during a mission trip to Venezuela, where he pulled his first tooth. He was drawn to the field for its unique blend of hands-on work, artistry, service, and lifelong learning. He finds great fulfillment in helping patients alleviate pain and restoring confidence in their smiles.
With experience serving patients in 17 countries, Dr. Visscher pursued his dental education at Loma Linda University in California, where he also discovered his love for rock climbing in Yosemite and Joshua Tree. Since returning to British Columbia, he and his family have enjoyed spending time together skiing, biking, climbing, camping, traveling, scuba diving, and occasionally paragliding.
Known for his relaxed and calm demeanor, Dr. Visscher is dedicated to providing exceptional dental care in a comfortable and supportive environment.

Dr. Debra Matson, known as Mrs. Visscher outside the office, grew up in Oregon and Washington before attending Loma Linda University School of Dentistry in Southern California, where she met Dr. Jonathan Visscher.
She was drawn to dentistry for its variety, artistic aspects, and the opportunity to connect with people. She also enjoys how the field continually evolves, offering new ways to enhance patient care.
Outside of work, Dr. Matson is a dedicated mother to two daughters and loves spending time outdoors. She enjoys exploring Squamish’s incredible trails through hiking, biking, and walking the family dog, Toffee. Her passions also include skiing, rock climbing, paddleboarding, backpacking, and embracing the beauty of nature.

The space reflects the natural beauty of the West Coast, featuring a warm, organic palette and artwork from local artists, including Eileen Kiyonaga—known for her bench at the new oceanfront park—and ceiling photography by Sophia Warrington, Guy Fattal, Chris Christie.
