Our Dental Implant Process
We use a highly planned digital workflow to make implant treatment precise and efficient. Our process typically includes:
3D imaging and digital scanning: We begin with a CBCT 3D X-ray and an intraoral digital scan to create a detailed picture of your teeth, gums, and supporting bone.
Digital treatment planning We digitally design the crown or bridge and determine the ideal position for the implant beneath the planned restoration.
Surgical guide creation: Using the digital treatment plan, we design and 3D print a custom surgical guide to help position the implant accurately.
Custom restoration: Your abutment and crown can be digitally designed and milled in our on-site lab using CEREC® technology.
Implant placement: After numbing the treatment area, we place the surgical guide over your teeth and use it to guide the implant placement. The implant is then positioned in the planned location.
Final restoration: When appropriate, the custom crown can be placed on the implant during the same visit, allowing you to leave with your completed smile.
